Giga Hub administrator password

The administrator password is required when accessing your modem's settings. In the modem settings you can view devices that are connected, and change the Wi-Fi name and password. By default, the password is either the serial number located on the sticker on the back of the modem or "admin", depending on your modem, but you can set your own.

To set or change the administrator password:

1. Open a web browser.
2. Open your web browser and visit bell.ca/mymodem or 192.168.2.1.
3. Click on Modem preferences.
   • For the Connection Hub, click Account Settings from the left menu.
4. If prompted, enter the administrator password.
   • The default password is the serial number located on the sticker on the back of the modem.
5. Follow the steps. Click Save to confirm the changes.
