Access security is a security option that alerts you to any unauthorized entries into your Voice Mailbox. When you activate the Access Security feature you're required to record your name and the current time. From this point onward, every time you access your Voice Mailbox, the system plays the name and time you recorded. If when you access your Voice Mailbox, the name and time are not recorded in your voice, or if the feature is skipped, an unauthorized entry may have occurred. To turn this feature on or off, please follow these steps.

To set access security:

1. Access your mailbox as you normally would (*99).
2. Press 4 for Personal Options.
3. Press 6 for Security Options.
4. Press 1 to turn Access Security on or 2 to turn it off (Press 0 for a tutorial).
