Outlook 2013

  1. Open Outlook 2013 and click File tab.
  2. Click the Add Account button to start the setup wizard.
  3. Select Manual setup or additional server types and click the Next button to continue.
  4. Select the option POP or IMAP and click the Next button.
  5. Enter:
    • Your Name: Name to be displayed on your outgoing emails.
    • Email address: Your Bell MTS email address or alias (e.g. @mymts.net, @mts.net, @mtsmail.ca) to be displayed on your outgoing emails.
    • Account Type: IMAP
    • Incoming (IMAP) email server: mail.mymts.net
    • Outgoing (SMTP) email server: mail.mymts.net
    • Username: Your @mymts.net email address (e.g. username@mymts.net).
    • Password: Your email password.
  6. Click the More Settings button to update advanced settings.
  7. Click the Outgoing Server tab and make sure that the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication box is checked.
  8. Click the Advanced tab.
  9. Enter:
    • Incoming server (IMAP): 993
    • Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
    • Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
    • Use the following type of encrypted connection: TLS
  10. Click the OK button to save the changes.
  11. Click the Next button to save and test the email settings. You will receive a congratulations message if the tests have been completed successfully. Click the Close button to continue.
  12. Click the Finish button to exit the window.

Outlook 2013 will now download your emails.
